Frequently asked questions

What does TourneyNation cost?

There is no subscription or setup fee. Fees apply only to payments made through TourneyNation: $4 per team registration, $0 to $1 per ticket depending on the ticket price, and 1% per sponsorship. Any fee can be passed to the buyer.

Can teams pay with Venmo, Cash App or cash?

Yes. Add your Venmo or Cash App handle and payments go directly to you. You mark each order as paid once you confirm it. TourneyNation does not charge a fee on these payments.

How do I get paid?

Payments made through TourneyNation are deposited to your bank account through Stripe. Add your business details and bank account once to start receiving deposits.

Can teams split the registration fee?

Yes. With FairShare, the fee is split at checkout and each family pays its own share.

Do I need my own website?

No. You can add a register button to a site you already have, share a link to a hosted event page, or host your whole organization on TourneyNation.

Can I move events over from another platform?

Yes. Upload a flyer or schedule PDF to fill in divisions, age groups and fees. Brackets and clubs can be imported from another platform.

Do umpires need an account to enter scores?

No. Umpires enter scores from a shared link and a day code.

What happens if a field has no cell signal?

Scoring keeps working offline and syncs when the phone reconnects.
